How can I adjust the SILQ office chair?

The only manual adjustment on SILQ is its seat height, which can be modified using the lever located under the chair. To raise the seat, lift your weight off and pull the lever up. To lower it, remain seated while pulling the lever up. Unlike traditional office chairs that require multiple adjustments, SILQ adapts naturally to the way you sit. Its innovative material composition allows it to flex and support your posture seamlessly, eliminating the need for manual back tension or recline controls.

What material is SILQ made from?

SILQ’s polymer frame mimics the properties of carbon fiber, providing strength while remaining lightweight. This advanced manufacturing process ensures lasting durability without compromising on design or flexibility.

Does Steelcase SILQ have lumbar support?

While SILQ does not have a separate lumbar support, it dynamically adjusts to your movement. As you sit and recline, the chair naturally conforms to your back, offering a responsive sitting experience that feels effortless.

Does SILQ include a headrest?

No, SILQ does not include a headrest. But there are multiple chairs on our website that include that option, like Leap or Gesture.

What height and body weight is SILQ best suited for?

The SILQ weight limit was tested up to 110 Kg and is best suited for users with body heights ranging from 150 cm to 190 cm.

Why might the dimensions you measure at home differ from the dimensions listed on our website?

Our task chairs follow the EN 1335-1:2020 standard. Seat height is measured using a CMD (chair measuring device), which determines height based on seat angle. Depending on the angle of the seat the seat height will be measured at different points on the chair. Because of this, at-home measurements may differ from official dimensions.
